Founded in sunny Portland, Oregon, Lightbox Kulturhaus was an independent dance space facilitating synesthetic experimentation and physical theater.

From the Spring of 2011 to Winter 2017 the Lightbox sought to be an incubator of local culture, community dialogue, and intimate dance and theater performance. Our aim was to provide inspiration, education, and activation. We encouraged the growth of art and creativity in Portland as a whole, and our intent was to provide a forum and a physical space for both.
