Lighthouse Christian School Madison

We are a private preschool -- 5th grade offering a bilingual approach to education at affordable prices. We are open from 7:30 AM -- 5:30 PM everyday for full-time childcare. Each classroom offers children many opportunities to learn and grow in both English and Spanish. Our 2&3 year old program introduces children to letters, numbers and themes through group activities and play. Our 4K classroom prepares children for Kindergarten through theme based units focusing on pre-reading and math skills. Our kindergarten through 5th grade curriculum is a mastery-learning based approach to help children not fall through the gaps in any subject matter, but to learn strong study skills through independent and cooperative learning projects.

In addition to our base curriculum, all students experience a variety of experiences in music, art and physical education. Spanish instruction is taught daily in an immersion style setting with the teacher speaking only Spanish. Children also receive Chinese lessons weekly.

Our dedicated staff are carefully picked to reflect the values of our curriculum as well as the NAEYC Accreditation Standards which we are subject too. Teachers must demonstrate a minimum level of training and coursework as well as be certified in CPR. Above all, our teachers demonstrate a love for God and for children that creates a warm and safe classroom environment for all students.
