Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic

Lighthouse is a free medical clinic run by UB medical student volunteers with local physicians. Lighthouse offers physical exams, sick visits, STD testing, PPDs, and care for most other medical concerns free of charge. We also offer dermatology services every first and third Wednesday of the month, dental services every second Wednesday of the month, and gynecological services every first Wednesday. Nutrition counseling, social work support services, and health insurance enrollment referrals available every week. No health insurance or payment of any kind is required.

If you have a primary care provider and are able to get an appointment, it is preferable that you schedule with them to ensure continuity of your healthcare. The following describes the different ways to be seen at Lighthouse:

1. Sign-up begins every Wednesday at 1333 Jefferson Ave (Group Ministries) starting at 4:30 pm on a first come, first serve basis.

2. Need a physical? We encourage you to call 716-222-0805 to schedule an appointment. Leave us a message and we will call you back to schedule the appointment during our regular Wednesday clinic hours.

3. Walk-in hours any health concerns will be availble from 6:00pm-8:00pm every Wednesday at 1315 Jefferson Ave (Jefferson Family Medicine). We are hoping to increase access to the clinic for general medical questions or concerns. Stop in and we will see how we can help or figure out who can. *During this time, we will not accept walk-in visits for routine physical exams and will not fill out any physical forms*. If you need a physical for school or work, call for an appointment or sign up at Group Ministeries at 4:30 pm.

4. Dermatology clinic sign-up will remain at 1333 Jefferson Ave (Group Ministries) at 4:30pm on the first and third Wednesday of every month.

5. Gynecology clinic sign-up will remain the first Wednesday of every month at 4:30pm at 1333 Jefferson Ave (Group Ministries).

6. Dental clinic services available 6:00pm-8:00pm at Lighthouse on the second Wednesday of every month - walk-ins are welcome.
