I am a trained doula who has been educated in techniques to make the labor and birth process one that will be easier for everyone involved in the birthing process. As a trained doula, I am able to provide both physical and emotional support for both the laboring mother and their birth partner. This support includes encouraging words, the ensuring that what is occuring is normal, and massages and other pain relief techniques. Though my services allow me to work as the primary birth partner for a laboring mother, I am also able to assist the birth partner. Assitances include, teaching you ways to help the mother, helping to support the mother, and educating you on the process of labor and what is occuring in order to ensure a calmer enviornment for all involved.

A doula does not act as your voice, and is not meant to take away from your experience, so though I will be able to give you more information on medicines and techniques, I will not be the one to decide what is right for you. We all work together to ensure a better delivery that the mother will remember fondly.
