What is Lindsey up to right now?

- May 2011, Her coffee table book, "A Treasure Revealed", is finally here!

Lindsey was recently commissioned by the Alliance & SWLA Chamber of Commerce to create a pictoral representation of who WE are as Southwest Louisiana (covering Calcasieu, Allen, Beauregard, Cameron, & Jeff Davis parishes). The hardback coffee table album covers and captures the culture, lifestyle, and heritage of our area through imagery, with the narration & text by writer Jeanne Owens. This beautiful book showcases approximately 150 of Lindsey's images, freshly captured within our area over the course of 2010. Books will be available for purchase through local bookstores, as well as through Lindsey Janies Photography, Jeanne Owens, & the Alliance of Southwest Louisiana / Chamber of Commerce for SWLA

The Alliance is currently setting dates for an official release date and book signings. Other book signings and receptions to celebrate "A Treasure Revealed"'s debut are also being set up through some of the local public libraries.

- May 2011, Lindsey is donating 17 fine art gallery wrapped canvases to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Gauthier Campus.

As part two of her work with Memorial's "Art for the Soul" project, new works will be installed throughout the outpatient halls.

* throughout CSE Federal Credit Union's main office (approximately twenty-four 24x36 double matted and framed prints, as well as one stunning NINE foot long print)

* eleven 20x28 prints across the seventh floor of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital (on Oak Park Blvd) as part of Leif Pederson's "Art for the Soul" project,

* nine SIX feet tall black & white wrapped canvases dominating the walls of Isle of Capri's newest restaurant, Otis and Henry's

* 20x30 gallery wrapped canvases displayed in the new 3D/4D Ultrasound office located in Orange, Texas
