Linville Falls Lodge and Spear's BBQ & Grill is located in the beautiful High Country of North Carolina. We are a small, family owned and operated business since 1937. We're just a little off the beaten path, but that's just one of many things that makes us different...


Located just a half-mile off America's most scenic highway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, at milepost 317, we are the perfect base camp for your outdoor adventures.
There's plenty do to and most of it's free! Hike the 12,000 acre Linville Gorge Wilderness, the deepest cut in the earth's surface east of the Grand Canyon, visit the Falls and walk the trails where the movie, "Last of the Mohicans" was filmed. View the mysterious Brown Mountain Lights, visit Grandfather Mountain, home of the mile-high swinging bridge, check out Linville Caverns, North Carolina's only commercial caverns. Or better yet, just come to rest and recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet of our North Carolina Mountains.
Just a few steps away is Spear's BBQ & Grill where we welcome you to "Enter as strangers and leave as friends." We're noted for our genuine pit-cooked, hickory-smoked pork, as well as an extensive menu of seafood, hand-cut steaks, country ham, chicken, veggies, salads, and our FAMOUS chicken pot pie.
