My name is Sherie Rowe, and this is my story! I'm just a mountain girl from Tennessee with 5 kids and an Appalachian attitude. I love to share organizational tips, tips on running your own business, and quotes to get you through the day! I am a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and (almost) a Master's degree in Human Resource Development, who is now a stay-at-home mom who runs a direct sales business with a little company called AVON! I love sharing my journey with this company and this is a little about how I got started! Love my job! I started my AVON journey in a very non-glamorous way. I was trolling the internet one night and decided to see if $15 could change my life. Little did I know HOW that tiny investment would change things! I just wanted to get some products for myself at a discount. So I signed up with no intention of selling. At this point, I was helping run a construction business with my husband, raising our least'un, age 11, and waiting for more grandchildren to add to our 10 who have already joined us...Jessica, Trevor, Jacob, Travis, Tyler, Michael, Dayton, Sofia and Amelia plus #11, a sweet baby girl joining us in the fall. And to be quite honest, I didn't even hardly wear cosmetics any longer. . I just love the nail polish. So my WHY started out as just wanting a great product at a great discount. But as time unfolded, I realize that God put that computer in front of me that night for a reason. My WHY is now an extremely powerful force in my life. I'm not perfect, far from it. But I am a strong, independent, and successful woman. And I attribute it all to the glory of God and my family and friends who have always been there for me whether I was successful or not. I went to college straight out of high school, goofed off, partied, dropped out and got pregnant. Although not planned, my first child was an incredible gift that God blessed me with. I met my first husband and gave birth to my second son all in the same year. We didn't marry till almost a year later. The happy moments were far outweighed by the unhappy ones and finally, after 10 years, we parted ways. A while later, after a couple messy romances and an urgent prayer for God to send me the man whose attributes I had made a list of, I married my second husband. Bringing along his two daughters, both grown, with children of their own, we were blessed with the least'un, a beautiful surprise girl. I returned to school, obtained my degree in Organizational Management and immediately began working on my Master's in Human Resource Development. As I began the final semester's work, I broke my leg. That and the fact that my mother had recently been diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer knocked me for such a loop that I quit school. Fast forward to this year, when I was helping my husband run our remodeling business and not really enjoying it very much. I was not happy and it seemed as if my spark was gone.completely.out. I needed something that I could enjoy. And there was AVON. Makeup, jewelry, nail polish and so much more! Girl time! Add to that the opportunity to help others reach their dreams. My goal for the rest of 2016 is to help as many women as I can reach out for their goals and start the journey to obtaining them! God gave me an opportunity, the support of my family and friends, and a wonderful, established company to work for. I'm looking forward to hearing about what YOU want to do with your life! Call Me!
