LITE (Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise)

Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE) is a part of UL's Office of the Vice President of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development. The building offers 3 Data Visualization Venues which are available to the public for presentations, conferences, training, seminars, receptions, etc. We also work closely with other research centers in the park to enhance training programs in the oil and gas, healthcare and education industries by creating Immersive Virtual Learning Environments (IVLE) that recreate the sight, sounds and dangers of real-life situations. These environments enrich user engagement, increase information retention, and provides a fully interactive learning environment that can equip the end user with valuable, quality hands-on experience without the consequences of mistakes. The facility also houses multiple economic development agencies which support our mission in connecting businesses with the resources needed to guide them to success.
