Little Rock Christian Academy

Founded in 1977 as Walnut Valley Christian Academy, Little Rock Christian Academy is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory Christian school serving three-year-olds through 12th grade. It is committed to their mission "to serve families, churches, and the community by providing a K-12 education characterized by excellence in the pursuit of truth from a Christ-centered worldview." In addition to an excellent academic education, LRCA offers extensive fine arts and athletic programs. Little Rock Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, the Arkansas Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association, and AdvancED, and is a member of The College Board, National Honor Society, National Beta Club and CESA Schools.AcademicsLittle Rock Christian Academy has top ranking in their test scores with Arkansas private schools. It has earned the ACT College Readiness award for two years. The ACT average score is 25. With twenty National Merit finalists and three National Achievement awards in the past five years, LRCA has made a name for itself in its solid, competitive academics. Its DUKE Tip program in the middle school has scored in the record numbers for the past two years. LRCA offers AP and Honors classes at the high school level. It offered $6.79 million in scholarship money to the class of 2011. In 2012, LRCA was named a National Blue Ribbon School.
