Little Springs Farm

Little Springs Farm offers recreational therapy focusing on work with children who come from hard places, and have experienced trauma resulting from abuse, neglect, divorce, medical trauma, and other stressful events. Using horses, the program seeks to improve a child's self-esteem, create positive family interactions, improve regulation and coping skills, and enhance attunement and attachment. Additionally, LSF is in partnership with Bethany Christian Services of Central PA to provide Clinical Equine Services to children and families. Cindy and the clinical therapists work as a team, providing individualized treatment for each client. Cindy's knowledge of equine therapy, coupled with Bethany Christian Services' evidence based trauma therapy program (ADOPTS) is being used to help children who come from difficult places find healing. "There is something about the outside of a horse, that's good for the inside of a child" and together we seek to connect each child served with a healing relationship.
