Littleton Equine Medical Center

Littleton Equine Medical Center is a 24 hour full service referral hospital, with heated intensive care barn, surgery barn and isolation barn. The hospital is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with an experienced and compassionate staff of Certified Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians. With a surgeon board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons on staff, our surgical team and techniques allow for less invasive procedures, shorter recovery times, and less discomfort for the horse. We also have one of the few Veterinarians in the state certified under the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Equine Practices. Our full service laboratory is equipped with on-site hematology and chemistry as well as microbiology to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis. The Imaging Department at our facility has expanded to include direct radiology, computed radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear scintigraphy and ultrasonography. We offer a variety of regenerative therapy treatments including joint therapy, shockwave, and laser therapy. For our client's convenience, ambulatory care continues to be an important service offered by our practice. Other services include theriogenology (reproductive services), dental care, ophthalmology, acupuncture, and chiropractic services.
