ABOUT THE CONCERT SERIES

Live at the Hollywood Theater is a primo concert series in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Bookings are very competitive in the context of the number of qualified potential artists and groups versus the limited number of concert dates each season. Our music director generally contacts those acts that are of interest to the series from among the top artists and groups based in the Kansas City area. Unsolicited requests to perform are accepted with the condition of understanding that such requests are rarely successful. Before submitting unsolicited requests for consideration to perform, we advise that you honestly refer to the above criteria to objectively assess your chances for successful consideration for a booking contract. An objective barometer is that if a google search yields no results for an artist or group, chances are they are not working at the level of professionalism in the music industry that we seek for this concert series at this time. Proceeds from the Live at the Hollywood Theater series are donated to local predetermined non-profit programs that assist youth. Thank you for your interest.
