LPS enrolls approximately 15,000 students in its three high schools (grades 9-12); three middle schools (grades 7-8); three upper elementary schools (grades 5-6); 12 elementary schools (grades K-4), one special programs school (grades 1-6) two early childhood centers; one Career Technical Center and one Skill Center for adult students with special needs.
LPS is district-wide accredited through AdvancED at the highest level; standardized test scores exceed state averages and are in the top 25% of tri-county districts in many subject areas.
