Lone Star ABA Therapy Center

Under the direction of Dr. Summer Adami Ph.D. and her professional staff, Lone Star ABA Services Therapy Center provides evidence based, individualized services to individuals with developmental disabilities. These services take place in a clinical setting with supports offered to generalize skills to all natural environments. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the team creates treatment plans that target deficit skill sets.

Individuals enrolled in our clinic participate in organized activities on site as well as in their homes and community. Teaching occurs both in one-on-one focused sessions as well as small group instruction. At times, siblings of our clients, as well as other chosen neurotypical peers, will be on site for structured, facilitated play-based activities. All clients have an individualized curriculum and parents are highly encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible. Required family/team meetings are scheduled on a weekly basis.

Additionally, our clinic offers the opportunity for all clients to participate in equine enrichment activities provided by our on-site equine therapeutic partner, Hunter's Horses. Hunter's Horses provides sound and quiet horses available for reinforcing, therapeutic activities and as well generalizing skills taught in the clinic. Hunter's Horses focus includes (but not restricted to) teaching social skills, increasing communicative repertoires, and building vocational skills. Participation in Hunter's Horses is completely voluntary; parents may elect to omit this from their child’s programming.

Our clinic also works with local school districts to provide professional, specialized services for students with behavioral challenges. We work with individuals receiving public and private funding sources.
