Mary Rae Moy began her love of dance at the age of three. She studied jazz and tap for nineteen years under the direction of Teri Wilkerson at Dance Discovery Studios. Her experience in performance expanded to Musical Theatre while studying at McMurry University, the Paramount Theatre and the Abilene Opera Association. She was a member of Chameleon Jazz Company for three years until she moved to Austin to pursue a degree in Interior Design at Texas State University. While at TSU, Mary Rae had the privilege of being a member of the nationally recognized Strutters under the direction of Barbara Tidwell. After receiving her degree, she moved to San Antonio where she shared her excitement and love of tap with hundreds of local students at several different dance schools throughout the city. Mary Rae continues to further her education by attending workshops and conventions nationwide. Ms. Mary Rae can’t wait to get great things rolling with her new students at Lonestar Collective Dance.
