Founded in 1949, Lorain County Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile asphalt oval track with 12° banking.

The facility has been owned by the Bonnema family since 1990 with Kevin S. Bonnema as the sole proprietor for the last 18 years.

The facility is in South Amherst, Ohio, conveniently located just 25 miles west of Downtown Cleveland.

Lorain County Speedway’s weekly Saturday night racing program runs from April to October each year, featuring Modifieds, Crate Sprint Cars, Grand Nationals, Chargers, and the always popular Parking Lot Drags, while the season finishes each year with the annual Cavalcade Festival of Speed. Lorain County Speedway also hosts the MSA Supermodifieds, Main Event Super Late Models, and several firework shows scattered throughout the season, and this year will host the prestigious ISMA Supermodifieds on June 26th & 27th.
