Lori Lemke Photography

A little bit about me...my name is Lori Lemke and I am a busy mom to two active, young children, Mila (4) and Liam (7), and married to my charismatic husband, David (who I joke is my 3rd child! Ha, just kidding, love you honey!) During the school year I work through the Appleton Area School District at Even Start Family Literacy (I work with young children which has always been a passion of mine). One of the great perks with this job is having the summers off to spend more time with my family and also focusing on my love of photography. I have essentially been an artist my entire life, that was my dream as a child and now here I am. I graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor of Fine Art with a concentration in painting (but my studies included photography, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and metals). Even as a busy mom, I have continued with painting in all different forms and materials. It wasn't until after the birth of my 1st born that I rediscovered a love for photography. I wanted to capture every little moment, because like the old saying goes 'they grow up too fast!" I am so glad I did, because in a blink of an eye they are changing and you quickly forget how small they once where. That is why I decided to share my passion with other families.
