Los Angeles MEPS, 7th Bn, US Military Entrance Processing Command

The Los Angeles MEPS supports the local community and shares the normal ties of every other MEPS. We provide jobs through our various contracts such as meals and lodging, maintenance, transportation and utilities. Finally, we add to our state by recycling paper and aluminum as well as by participating in volunteer projects such as schools mentorship program, scouting, and the greater area Combined Federal Campaign.

The Los Angeles MEPS is the largest of a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico.

A separate Department of Defense (DoD) agency, USMEPCOM is comprised of two geographical sectors and staffed with personnel from all military services.

Family Members/Visitors: The Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Opens to all family member/visitors at 0900 a.m. A valid photo I.D., Driver's license, U.S. military I.D., or U.S. passport for those who are 18yrs or older must be shown prior to being allowed to enter the building. So please have these items readily available upon arriving to the MEPS. No entry will be allowed if the above item(s) are not provided.
