In 1980, in the City by the Bay (Perth Amboy, NJ) there were not many beauty salons that only focused on the ethno-centric hair of the many young women that populated its homes. There were not many salons that offered, above all, an experience. And that was the inspiration that drove Lourdes to begin her creation and for the last 30 years – she has not stopped focusing on her vision and building around the belief that beauty is skin deep.

Lourdes has become a household name, a premier leader in the beauty industry believing that being a beautician is not a job, but a way of life.
Although Lourdes enjoys all aspects of being a beautician, one of her favorite techniques is to style and color. Whether thick or thin, short or long a person’s hair tells a story.
