The Love INC Model

Every Love INC affiliate is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, managed by an executive director and governed by a board of directors made up of Livingston County church members.

The Clearinghouse is the foundation of all Love INC affiliates where:

A request for help is received from either an individual in need or by referral from a network church or local agency.
Specially trained volunteers or staff assess the extent of the need with an interview and explore any deeper issues fueling the crisis.
The request is referred to a combination of partner churches, agencies, or faith-based organizations to provide assistance.
Groups of volunteers from Love INC partner churches respond to the referral with tangible help.
Volunteers and staff from the partner churches and the Clearinghouse review outcomes to see if the needs have been met or if longer-term attention is needed.
