Love Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church

An “Oasis of Love” was established March 19, 1997 by Founding Pastor,
Elder John B. Sylvie, by way of Love Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church. With a church family that truly embodies its name, Love Temple thrives on love and God’s Holy Word to empower and impact people’s lives to focus change. Pastor and First Lady Sylvie endeavor to propel men, women, and children to collide with their destiny and become whole persons spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and financially to better God’s Kingdom.

For building the total man, Love Temple offers various ministries to cater to the needs of people. Ministries such as The Men of Valor that focuses on brotherhood, fatherhood, family, overcoming addictions and matters effecting men, to the Women of Excellence Ministry whose primary focus is depositing to produce educated, well-rounded, non-validation seeking women with a heart to serve God and others, to a Children’s, Youth, and Young Adult Ministry that embraces vibrantly intelligent and talented leaders of tomorrow that love God and choose to show it, makes our church family eager to grow and acquire all that God has for us. We truly believe in loving and helping people in any capacity necessary. Ministries such as our Room of Provision Pantry allow us to continue efforts of this like, feeding the hungry continually. Ensuring that our greatest duty as Christians is fulfilled, our Evangelism Ministry loves spreading the gospel to compel others to be saved, delivered, and set free.

Through great teaching, we as a church family have learned that a loving unified body is the way to go, and we have hit the ground running to achieve the vision that God has given to our pastor, Elder John B. Sylvie. He and First Lady
Mary Sylvie provide a united front that filters down to every leader and member to form a ministry of order, love, and integrity. Love Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church is a family that loves God, one another, and understands that we can do all things through Christ whom strengthens us.
