Loving Arms Early Learning Center

LAELC is located within St. Mark’s United Methodist Church at 2675 East Washington Street in Iowa City and provides childcare and a preschool education for children 6 weeks to 5 years. Loving Arms (formerly Open Arms) was originally founded in October 2001. The name was officially changed to Loving Arms in September 2013.

We have six classrooms in our facility. The age range is as follows:
Blue Room: 6 weeks-12 months
Red Room: 12 months-18 months
Orange Room: 18 months-24 months
Pink Room: 2-3 years old
Yellow Room: 3-4 years old
Rainbow Room: 4-5 years old
