It's so fun to run at top speeds, chase your friends and play fetch. No, not you - your dog! Marshall now has an off-leash dog run with designated sites for dogs to run freely and interact with other dogs. Some of the amenities at the Marshall Area Dog Run include a double gated entrance, designated areas for large and small breed dogs, watering stations, benches, tables, fire hydrants and shaded areas. Let your furry friend run freely at the Marshall Area Dog Run, conveniently located near downtown Marshall at 111 A Street, open dawn to dusk daily. You won't have to wonder if your furry friend is having fun. That wagging tail says it all! The Marshall Area Dog is an enclosed, off-leash canine, exercise area located in Marshall, Minnesota. It is owned and operated by the City of Marshall. We want to thank our generous sponsors for their support! Since opening in August of 2012, the Run has generated a lot of traffic amongst Marshall's dog population and owners. Great stories have been shared how owners have met people and maintained friendships through networking at the Dog Run. The fall season even ended with a Halloween party!!

Rules!!
•Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and upon leaving the dog run area.
•A maximum of two dogs per individual.
•Dogs in heat or puppies under 4 months old are prohibited.
•All dogs must have current vaccinations and a valid license.
•Owners are responsible for their dogs and must clean up after them. Bags and disposal stations are provided.
•Dogs must be under voice command and control, and be accompanied by their owner at all times.
•Do not bring rawhide chews or other dog treats into the area.
•Dogs displaying aggressive behavior must be leashed immediately.
•Do not let your dog dig holes. Fill any holes mistakenly dug.
•An adult must accompany children under 12 years of age.
•Do not allow your children to pet or pick up another pet without owner’s permission.
•For your dog’s safety, you are encouraged to inquire about other dogs in the area before entering.
•Smoking and food are prohibited inside the fenced area.
•Report any dog bites, attacks or injuries to the Marshall Police Department at 537-7000.
