LP Quilting & Design - Fabric Shop

Our little country Quilt shop is a labor of love and centered around family. In 2001 my grandmother bought a quilting machine and began to teach herself how to quilt and started quilting for others soon thereafter. In 2009 while being a newlywed and finding out the wonderful news that my husband and I were expecting our first child I started thinking about ways that I could be a Stay-At-Home mom/wife and still be able to contribute financially to our growing little family so I asked my grandmother what she thought about the possibility of me learning how to quilt, I received my first lesson that afternoon! So at 20 years old I began to quilt and loved every minute of it, it is so satisfying and there is always a new challenge with every single quilt so it is not a repetitious or monotonous job ever. In the fall of 2011 after giving birth to our second child I started kicking around the idea of having a full blown fabric shop in conjunction with the existing quilting shop, and just a few short weeks later we jumped in with both feet and began construction for an addition to our building for a "fabric room". Our new addition was complete and was open for business by March 2012.
We continue to grow and learn each and every day how to serve our customers better. I have begun travelling to quilt shows relatively close to home and while I am gone my grandmother stays and works the shop so it is occupied at all times. There are 3 generations that are at our shop each and every day, there is nothing but love in the walls of this little country quilt shop, for family, for fabric and quilting, and for our customers.
