Lubbock Heart & Surgical is a physician-owned hospital that opened its doors in December of 2003 as the region’s premier heart hospital, focused upon the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. This 74-bed licensed facility, includes 16 cardiac coronary care beds and private patient rooms equipped with the latest technology to meet the special needs of cardiovascular patients.

In 2012, LHSH expanded its services to include orthopaedic and urology. LHSH's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery includes expert staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques, focusing on each of these orthopaedic subspecialties: adult reconstruction and joint replacement, sports medicine, spine surgery, surgery of the hand and wrist, surgery of the shoulder and elbow, surgery of the foot and ankle, musculoskeletal tumor surgery, orthopaedic trauma Surgery, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
