Lucky Dog Grooming Salon is owned and operated by me, Barb Montgomery. I attended Paragon School of Pet Grooming 1994-1995 and I opened June 1, 1995 just a few steps away from my back door. I have been grooming dogs and cats ever since. I grew up in Ionia, and have been married to Jeff for 27 yrs and have 2 awesome boys, Jeffrey 20 and John 16, dogs Daisy and Sophie and cats Sox, Fatty, Sinatra and Sheldon. I have been " LUCKY" to have the best of both worlds, working at home and and raising my family, plus a wonderful husband to do the handy work and keep things operating around here!! Lucky Dog currently has myself to run the day to day operations, PLUS I still groom a few dogs here and there, then we have 2 full-time employee, Isabell Barna, and Holly Leonard and part-time Groomer Ashton Montgomery, we have a combined 30 years experience. We accept cash, check, and also all debit/credit cards.
