Lucky Ones Ranch

A 5 acre ranch in Vacaville, CA where the Lucky Ones live!
We are an animal sanctuary filled with about 60 animals and a magical place for ranch parties.

Our family includes many furry and feathered friends including 2 llamas, 7 horses, 2 donkeys, 2 goats, 3 bunnies, 3 guinea pigs, 6 dogs, 4 cats, 11 piggies and many feathered friends.
Our rescues include Josephine, the miniature horse who was abandoned and allowed to run loose on the highway. Cozette, our Australian cattle dog who was also abandoned and found running around the almond groves in Merced.
Cozette is now a certified pet therapy dog for the Sacramento SPCA.
Our two barn cats, Maggie and Cadillac keep the mice away. Cadillac is now the 'ranch supervisor' and greets everyone that comes.
One of our 2013 rescue is Alyah, a beautiful Kiger Mustang, who gave birth to a colt, Dylan on June 8th.

Apparently we were also meant to have Strider, a huge 16.3hh Hanoverian with an injury that has ended his jumping/dresssage career. He came down in the same trailer from Oregon as Alyah in January 2013. Strider was adopted by an unethical horse trainer who promptly sold Strider as a jumping horse! We, of course, we had to intervene and rescued Strider.


Currently we are not open to the general public, as the ranch is also our home. However, we do give private tours.. just ask!
