Lucky Penny Community Arts Center

The Community Arts Center (CAC) is a 7,200 square-foot facility in the City of Napa designed to provide a central location for training and education, rehearsal and practice, and performance and presentation.

The CAC is an affordable and accessible “creation place” - an incubator for all kinds of art –where the local community can imagine, develop and present performing and visual arts.

The CAC is unique in Napa—the only hands-on, ground-up, low-overhead facility of its kind that can provide a place for all kinds of arts and cultural creations to take shape and be seen.

The CAC is in a light industrial use are. Within the wide open spaces of this building, we're building a black box theater, rehearsal rooms, ad hoc art studio space and much more. With the rising cost of commercial space, it is this type of affordable location that makes financial sense for us. Neighbors in the area include dance studios, fitness and martial arts studios, a church, food services and more.

The space is laid out to include a performance area with theatrical lighting and sound, a rehearsal room/dance studio, teaching rooms for one-on-one training, dressing rooms, a full-size lobby, and a scene construction shop with costume/properties storage area.

The entire CAC will be available for rental by community groups of all kinds for many purposes.
