Lumberton Police Department

The Lumberton Police Department’s headquarters is located at 1305 Godwin Avenue, Lumberton, NC 28358.

Our focus is to enhance programs and services to ensure the protection of lives and property while promoting crime prevention awareness, identification and apprehension of offenders, maintaining public order and excellent community relations.

Our department is composed of 90 sworn and 13 non-sworn employees. Police Department Divisions are: Administration, Professional Standards/Internal Affairs, Investigative/Juvenile, Patrol and Training.

It is the Lumberton Police Department’s mission to work hard and diligently to build strong, trusting relationships within all communities which we serve by reducing crime, fear of crime and neighborhood decay through proactive efforts.
