THE LUSSIER FAMILY HERITAGE CENTER is located within the Capital Springs Recreation Area in Lake Farm County Park, the gateway to the 3,600-acre Nine Springs E-Way Corridor Resources Protection area, which runs from Verona Road east to Lake Waubesa. This park is the junction of two major regional bicycle trails – the Glacial Drumlin and Military Ridge trails, via Madison’s Capital City Trail. Lake Farm Park and the adjacent E-Way contain an array of natural resources and landscape types.
Lake Farm Park also offers numerous recreational opportunities including boat launch and picnic facilities, campgrounds, hiking and cross-country ski trails, and playground equipment.
