Lyman Moore Middle School

Lyman Moore Middle School is located in the North Deering neighborhood of Portland, Maine, a few miles from the coast and 50 miles north of New Hampshire. The school serves a diverse community within the Munjoy Hill and Washington Ave. neighborhood, as well as the surrounding area.

Visit our classrooms or walk through our hallways and you’ll be impressed by the consistent and ongoing demonstrations of respect, collaboration and enthusiasm for learning as students explore their world through both innovative and traditional teaching techniques.
