Lynn Canal Running Camp

The Lynn Canal Running Camp is a weeklong opportunity for high school runners to meet and develop a life-long passion for running. The Eagle River Camp, located 30 miles north of Juneau, Alaska in the Tongass National Rainforest, serves as home for both campers and counselors. This is where runners sleep, make meals, play games and listen to guest speakers. Running activities will occur throughout the Juneau trail system.

Events each day vary, but the focus will remain the same: a holistic approach to healthy running. Activities include breakout sessions on nutrition, healthy relationships, sports psychology, running technique, running after high school, and core strengthening. Runs will be wide-ranging, but all runners can expect to run between 25 and 50 miles during the camp depending on prior experience and ability. Physicals and a medical release are required for all runners.
