Lynnette Shifman

Dr. Lynnette Shifman has been a Realtor in the Conejo Valley since 1984. Her personal relationship with this community allows her to successfully promote properties. She is able to increase the value of listed homes through her knowledge of the neighborhoods and help buyers find their desirable property.Lynnette has been very active in the real estate community in various capacities. She has worked for the Conejo Valley Unified School District as a teacher. At Newbury Park High School, she taught English, French, German, and journalism, providing outstanding service to students, teachers and parents by listening, understanding, and meeting their needs. At California Lutheran University, she has worked as an educator responsible for professional development and supervising student teachers. In addition, she wrote a weekly column for the Ventura County Star specializing on event and news in the community. She was awarded the Ventura County Press Club Award for News Coverage in 1999. Her volunteer work includes active participation in a grassroots program for the prevention of violence in the community and Relay for Life. At UCLA, she graduated cum laude and received a Master’s Degree in Journalism. She obtained a Doctorate in Business Administration with her thesis on quality practices and benefits of ISO certification. Her thesis won the TIACA research award in 2003. While pursuing her career as realtor, educator, and journalist, Lynnette raised two very successful children. Her daughter, Dr. Ruth Shifman, is a dentist with her dental office located in Ventura. Her son, Mark, is Director of Sales for an insurance company. Her two grandchildren, Juliana and Johnny, are her pride and joy. With her background and unique skills and expertise, Lynnette is equipped to serve both sellers and buyers with her knowledge of the community and schools, personal connections, and understanding of the business community and real estate market.
