Nestled in West Hoke County, Lyons and Wade Family Farm is owned and operated by Marshall and Patricia Lyons. The Lyons’ support the family tradition of farming started by Patricia’s grandmother Charlotte Graham who farmed tobacco, raised hogs and sold vegetables. Patricia’s mother, Laura Wade came back home to Raeford after retiring from the medical field in New York. Laura raised goats, quail, chickens, parakeets and love birds. When Laura became ill, Marshall and Patricia relocated to Raeford to care for her.
Lyons &Wade Family Farm utilizes organic standards and good agricultural practices to assure the quality of their products. Patricia and Marshall support the concept of fresh and local grown food.
Products produced on the farm are farm fresh and homemade. They include eggs, vegetables, honey, jelly, jam and soap.
