Lyons Township Fire Department

The Lyons Township Fire Department is a paid on call fire department located in Walworth County Wisconsin between the City of Burlington, and Lake Geneva. The department responds to calls in all of the Town of Lyons, and part of the Town of Spring Prairie, and will send and receive assistance from the surrounding communities. Apparatus include 2 engines, 2 tankers, 1 brush truck, 1 utility truck, 1 special operations trailer(with atv), 1 mobile cascade trailer, and 1 ambulance all in one station. The list of members includes nearly 50 people. The department is also home to the Lyons Township Fire Department explorer post 224. The explorer post gives young adults, ages 14-18, the opportunity to see if the fire or ems service is something they enjoy. They are issued fire gear, and after training, are allowed to run calls right along with the members.
