HISTORY

A subsidiary of M s Rubber, Mississippi Rubber & Specialty Company (MRS) began operations in 1963 to distribute industrial rubber products in Mississippi and surrounding areas.

Over the years MRS grew steadily with employees expanding from three in 1964 to over forty in 1991.

In 1977 operations were moved to 715 E. McDowell Road increasing our warehouse space from 7.500 to 24,000 square feet. In 1984. The Vicksburg branch was opened to serve the Vicksburg, West-Central Mississippi and Eastern Louisiana.

In 1987, the officers of the company were restructured due to the death of President and sole stockholder, Horace Hebert.

In December, 1998 operations began under the new parent corporation, M S Rubber Company.

M S Rubber Company is a Woman-Owned Business certified by Supplier
Clearinghouse.

We have expanded our distribution business to include custom fabricated gaskets, hose assemblies, and various rubber and plastic parts.
