We raise our pigs from birth on a 35-acre pasture with access to fresh water and grass. They are fed a protein based corn and bean meal diet and are ready to be sold at six months of age.
The price of our hogs are $300 and that includes transportation to the local meat processor. From there, you are in direct contract with the butcher, and you decide how your 175-225 pounds of meat will be processed.
In full disclosure, the cost of meat processing is not included in the price of the hog.
