MacDonald Farm

MacDonald Farm is located in Orange, MA and is owned and operated by Vincent MacDonald.

Vincent grew up in central MA and is passionate about growing crops and animals in harmony with God's design.

Our passion is to care for the life in the soil and thus produce healthy, nutrient-dense food.

We produce pasture-raised eggs, grass-fed lamb and pasture/forest-raised pork.

In our farm design and husbandry practices, we strive to let the animals express their animal-ness. Thus, our chickens are out on the pasture eating bugs and grass, sheep that eat grass, and pigs rooting around outdoors.

This year we are making an exciting shift to mob grazing, a grazing model that mimics the great herds of buffalo that used to graze the midwest. Mob grazing has many earth-shattering ramifications! We are so excited to be growing amazing food and building soil at the same time!

At the present time, eggs are available at Quabbin Harvest, and Adams Farm and at my house in Orange. Just give me a call first to make sure someone will be there to help you!

Pork and Lamb will be available later in the Spring, I will update this page with more info.
