Made With Love by Helen

Baking and canning are a love that I learned from my mother. She taught me to roll out pie crust as a child and I helped make cookies, and so it began... and still is one of my favorite things, pie making. Old fashioned cakes were another specialty of my mom, whether it was hummingbird cake or fresh apple cake, she enjoyed making them and sharing them with others. That is what I love to do also. I have her tried and true recipes, along with a few of my own that you will love to share as well!


I love to pick berries and then you must do something with them, so you make jelly or jam. Each year I attempt to try a new recipe, so stay tuned to see what is new.

Making candy is something else that I offer. Homemade peanut and cashew brittle, buckeyes (peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate), mocha truffles (chocolate and coffee crème filling dipped in chocolate), and various other treats that you will absolutely love!

All of the proceeds from my bakery goes to support two of my favorites organizations: the Sumba Youth Initiative at www.sumbayouthinitiative.blogspot.com and the Alzheimer's Association.

What a blessing it is to be able to do what I love and help others in the process!
