Main Street United Methodist Church

We are "A church at the heart of the city for the hearts of the people."

A historic church, centrally located "At The Top" of Main Street in Columbia, SC, we attract members from diverse neighborhoods. We are close to the University of South Carolina, Columbia College, Benedict College, Allen University and Lutheran Theology Southern Seminary as well as in-town residents. Main Street Church is large enought to provide a vibrant ministry but small enough that each member can feel like they have a home here. New members can immediately have an influence on church life at Main Street.

We are proud of our United Methodist Women's and Men's Club organizations and excellent Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir and our senior citizens' choir "The Magnifiers." Satisfaction also comes with our active mission work. The Child Care Center day care program is fully accredited and second to none in the city.
