Maine Jewish Museum

The Maine Jewish Museum is located in a turn-of-the-century immigrant-era house of worship restored to its original condition.The building stands as a testament to the Jewish families of Maine who worked so hard to build this facility almost 100 years ago.

The museum showcases photographic and historic displays that highlight the contributions and accomplishments of Maine's original Jewish immigrants and their families as well as art and rotating exhibits by Jewish artists from Maine and elsewhere.
