Major Properties was founded in 1964 by Arnold Luster and Fred Mills. In the family tradition, sons Jeff Luster and Brad Luster became owners of the business in 1992. As a leader in the Downtown Los Angeles real estate market for almost half a century, Major Properties has brokered over $3 billion in transactions and has served thousands of commercial and industrial property sellers, buyers, lessors and lessees.
In 2010, we started a residential division to serve the needs of clients and the many people looking to purchase, sell or lease Downtown condos, lofts and apartments. Single family residences located outside of the area are also included in the mix.
Our organization is comprised of a team of talented professionals who understand what it takes to successfully move real estate. Our sales staff has access to a comprehensive support system that includes a management and secretarial staff, a full-time marketing, database and IT manager, and on-line networking with the A.I.R. Industrial Multiple/CDX, LoopNet and the Los Angeles Board of Realtor’s Multiple Listing Service (The MLS).
Major Properties is not bound by rigid policy guidelines like some national real estate firms headquartered in far-off cities.
