Established in 1994, Malabar Trading Company is a Monterey Bay based boutique tea company offering an excellent selection of award-winning signature chai blends, premium single estate loose leaf teas, classic tea blends, and unique herbal tisanes. Our spices and teas are sourced from tea gardens and estates renowned for exceptional, handcrafted teas that are grown and cultivated using sustainable farming practices.

Malabar Trading Company also produces handcrafted, artisan products including herbal wine gelées, honey creme spreads, whole grain mustards, and preserves with locally grown fruit. We are known for our tea 'nibbles' and freshly baked pastries. Selection varies each week.

In addition to our online business, we are members of the Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets. We are vendors at the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College, Saturdays, 8 am until 12 pm and the Monterey Farmers Market at Monterey Peninsula College on Fridays, 10 am until 2 pm.
