Malta is a village in Morgan County, Ohio, United States. The population was 671 at the 2010 census.HistoryMalta was laid out in 1816. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.3% of the population.There were 278 households of which 33.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.1% were married couples living together, 15.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.4% were non-families. 30.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 2.97.
