Mamasake Squaw is permanently closed.

Letter from chef and owner Elsa Corrigan:
It is with bittersweet emotion that I announce the closure of Mamasake Squaw. I have had to close the Squaw Valley location for many reasons, none of which is significant alone. For the time being I will continue to support various non-profit organizations in the Truckee Tahoe area and work with my staff at our restaurant locations in Fiji. It has been an amazing journey over the last 15 years and I am thankful for the many friendships formed through the experience of coming together over food, in the mountains, and playing in the sun and snow together. I want to thank the people who made it possible the cooks, dishwashers, sushi chefs, servers, bartenders, bussers, managers, musicians, contestants, purveyors of fine products, but most of all the guests who brought their family, friends, energy and good times in with them.
I wish you all the very best and hope to see you out there on the mountain, in a bar or restaurant or at an event in the near future.
