Mammoth Museum at the Hayden Cabin

The Mammoth Museum at the Hayden Cabin is run by the Southern Mono Historical Society which is a non-profit organization. We rely on funding from the Town of Mammoth Lakes and Mono County plus donations and memberships. The museum is only open from Memorial Day weekend through the end of September and closed in winter. There are many interesting historical exhibits which teach visitors about Mammoth Lakes' history. We host several community events throughout the summer months and the outdoor venue is available for rent for weddings, receptions, reunions, parties, celebrations of life and gatherings.
