Mandala Preschool

Mandala Preschool is a home based enrichment program and child care in the heart of Hayden, Idaho. A small group size, warm atmosphere and child-centered approach to learning creates an environment that welcomes children to grow and learn naturally and holistically.

Mandala Preschool is inspired by the nature preschool and forest kindergarten movements, as well as the Reggio Emilia / Emergent Curriculum approaches. This is reflected by integrating nature and our local environment into play, creative arts, exploration, and skill building. Learning is a collaboration between the interests of the child, the natural world around us, and the teacher's gentle guidance.

Our program includes group time, music and movement, play-based learning, yoga, natural and open ended toys and learning materials, creative arts, sensory play and activities, mindfulness practices, nature exploration and integration, gardening, skill building, and nutrition and food preparation.

Healthy vegetarian meals and snacks will be provided during the day.

Mandala Preschool offers full time and part time care for ages 3-5. The most intentional part of the day takes place between 9 AM and 1 PM, therefore part time care is offered on a mornings-only or partial week/full day schedule. We are open from 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Available enrollment schedules are as follows:

M-F full days

M-F preschool only (9 AM - 1 PM)

M/W/F full days

M/W/F preschool only (9 AM - 1 PM)

T/Th full days

T/Th preschool only (9 AM- 1 PM)
