M&J Helping Hands will continue to strive to expand its programs to many disabled children throughout San Diego County by offering unique therapeutic physical fitness and sports. Through partnering, we will have the opportunity to serve children who would otherwise not be able to participate in unique sports rehabilitation services that develop self-esteem, teach self-defense skills, and enhance coordination and mobility.

M&J Helping Hands has collaborated with local Martial Art Schools in providing physical fitness and therapeutic adaptive self - defense programs. The overall goal is to empower children with disabilities by providing them with the opportunity to grow and thrive to their full potential without limitations and to improve their quality of life. Our services enable a person to function with the greatest success in his or her environment. We open doors allowing children to explore and engage in activities that will help develop confidence and self-esteem.
