Manna Meal serves two meals a day 365 days a year. Breakfast is served from 8-9 a.m. (Monday – Sunday) and lunch is served 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Monday – Saturday), and 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. (Sunday).
During meal times, the Outreach Coordinator is accessible and interacts with people in need of services.
The geographic area Manna Meal serves covers mainly downtown Charleston, but extends throughout the entire Kanawha Valley.
We are a no questions asked soup kitchen. What that means is no one is turned away. Folks only need to show up and they will be fed. While Manna Meal began with a peanut butter sandwich for a homeless person, we now feed not only the homeless, but also low income, unemployed, disabled anyone who comes through our doors. Our soul purpose is "so the hungry can eat."
