Mantis Kung Fu Academy

Mantis Kung Fu Academy is an extension of the American Chinese Martial Arts Federation; founded by 4th Generation Grandmaster James Shyun. Mantis Kung Fu Academy teaches the 8-Step Preying Mantis System, which is a 350 year old martial art originating in northern China. Here the student will learn to develop a strong body, clear mind, and a heart of integrity along with practical yet beautiful self-defense techniques. We are a traditional school with strict standards and we look for students ready to work hard but that treat each other with respect and care in an environment dedicated to health and self improvement.
